A conceptual photographer and director, born in 1982, Armelle Sèvre lives and works in the South of France.
The themes she develops relate to a reflection on the status of the image, especially the cinematographic image. The heart of her work questions the still image in movies and the moving image in photography.
She cultivates what might be called photograms, laying out a before and an after around the photographic snapshot.
She imbues reality with fiction to
allow us to understand it in its entirety.
She validates her diploma in 2017 in continuing education at the École nationale supérieure de la Photographie (Arles, France).
She exhibits in Arles, Marseille, Toulouse…
