Art color photography by Giles Daoust. This new series of photographies by the artist was presented for the first time the 17th february 2016 in Paris, at the collective contemporary art exhibition organized by Fine Art Management.

"The clown is a double-edged character. Fascinating from childhood, he has also inspired the most disturbing characters in literature and cinema. It is therefore this magic and uneasiness that photographer Giles Daoust wanted to transcribe in this work: THE CLOWN represents a tree bark, which has been digitally retouched to create the silhouette of a disturbing clown. This is a perfect example of Daoust's photographic approach, entitled NATURE FANTASTIQUE, which seeks to bring out fantastic and supernatural atmospheres from elements of nature. Giles Daoust is an award-winning filmmaker of Belgian origin, active in the USA and France."
